Small lobby decorated in a functional style. situated next to the Gran Via, in the touristic, cultural and business centre of Madrid. The airport is approximately 20 minutes taxi drive away. The outside of the building is of a modern structure and well maintained. There is no restaurant but a breakfast room serving cold buffet. A very basic hotel for those expecting a "no frills" stay. Perfect location for those that want to stay away Gran Via and still be within short walking distance to Plaza de Espana. Several large department stores are located behind the hotel. The exterior of this building is of modern architecture with glass panels. Lunch and dinner can be taken at sister hotel Husa Princesa which is located side by side to this property. The breakfast room is medium size and decorated in a contemporary style with light wooden furniture. Hotel is connected through a corridor to 5 star sister hotel Husa Princesa which is a great advantage to guest as they are able to use its facilities. All rooms are relatively spacious in size and are of a very high standard. The decor is classical with beige toned bedspreads and curtains. The lobby area is small in size but is elegantly decorated. Smaller adjacent rooms with classical decor are located next to the reception. Close to cinemas, theatres, restaurants and the most popular shopping area "Puerta del Sol". It is very well connected to all areas within Madrid by bus and underground. This hotel is housed in a representative building of the XIX century showing a bright facade thanks to the combination of the red bricks on the walls and the white cornice and window frames.
