The hotel has no full service restaurant but there is a breakfast room offering a full American breakfast buffet. There are many restaurants within walking distance. Rooms are medium in size and in fair condition, most of which have views of the ocean. Hotel is centrally located directly on the beach, five blocks from Miami Beach Convention Center, 16 kilometres from Miami International Airport and just minutes away from shopping and night life on Ocean Drive and Lincoln Road. The lobby is medium sized, decorated with comfortable chairs and plants. This white and green, stucco, oceanfront hotel is Art Deco style. It was built in 1945 and renovated in 1993/1994. The hotel is situated directly on 375 feet of white sandy beach and only a ten minute walk from the entertainment district and night life. The hotel is only five blocks away from the Convention Center. NOTE: The hotel is a SMOKE-FREE property. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas. (12/07 LM)
