Guest rooms are medium in size and designed with comfort in mind. Non-smoking, and handicap accessible rooms are available. The lobby is medium-sized and is elegantly decorated with classic columns, marble floors and hand-painted murals. The hotel is situated directly on the sandy shores of Miami Beach, less than two miles from the famous Art Deco district of South Beach. It is 1.5 miles from Lincoln Road and Miami Beach Convention Center and 20 minutes from Miami International Airport. Ten story oceanfront hotel, dating from 1950 and renovated in 1990. There are two restaurants in the hotel. One serves great kosher Chinese food and the other is a full service restaurant open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel has an outdoor pool and direct access to Miami Beach's famous boardwalk, ideal for jogging, walking, or relaxing. Great property for families and independent travelers. (0606/CH)
