| All the bedrooms have been designed to provide comfort and tranquility. The Edwardian (standard) rooms have been decorated in a traditional style with dark wooden furniture and floral fabrics, retaining much of the original Edwardian grandeur that fills this hotel. The bathrooms vary in size but are well equipped with power showers. For a bit of history, book room 118, where Oscar Wilde was arrested in 1835 and where his smoking jacket still hangs in the wardrobe. Or the room where King Edward VII would meet his mistress, famous actress Lillie Langtrie. The lobby is small and consists of a discreet wooden reception desk and original mosaic flooring. It's design has the feel of a private townhouse steeped with old-world elegance.
Every single guest will be received with a complimntary wellcome drink on arrival, will be shown around the hotel and personally accompannied to their rooms. Located in a beautiful townhouse halfway between Knightsbridge and Sloan Square and opposite Cadogan |
